Born and raised in Manitowoc, Karen earned a BA in Finance from St. Norbert College and eventually returned to her hometown to raise a family and lead the formation efforts for Treehouse Theater during 2012.  Driven to provide an inclusive, family-friendly youth arts program that is constantly improving and expanding, Karen loves to work WITH and FOR children  She guides each production team, ensures actor development of life skills, and pursues high show quality aspects that will exceed audience expectations.  Karen is extremely grateful for the continued support of her family, friends, and our deeply-rooted arts community.

ERIN NYCZ

Erin earned degrees in English and Theater from UW-Madison and has 15 years of experience working as a professional actor and arts educator.  Her greatest role to date is being mom for two daughters and she is thrilled to be back home in Manitowoc.  She has spent the past few years teaching private piano and voice lessons plus leading a children’s choir.  Erin is beyond excited to build an arts education program that nurtures a lifelong pursuit and enjoyment of the arts.

DANIELLE FRAHM

With a degree in Special Ed, Dani loves to surround herself with children and the arts.  Dani is a home-schooling mother of three who has served in several production roles since 2014 including parent volunteer, Costume Designer, Stage Manager, Assistant Director, and Director.
