Service Description
This advanced acting class is designed for students ages 15-20 and will continue to shed new light on the craft of acting. Learn to listen, take risks, and prepare for bold emotional choices, while getting better prepared for auditions and lead roles. In advance of each class, some reading and note taking will be required. Book two is available for purchase online, or we have copies that can be borrowed in advance of the first class. Class meets Saturdays from 2-4 pm (March 7, 14, 21, 28) and Sundays 3-5 pm (March 1, 8, 15, 22, 29). We will begin book 3 at the beginning of April, and the schedule will require some flexibility due to Easter and Legally Blonde. *Scholarship funds are available upon request, please email erin@treehousetheater.com* Chris Andacht brings over 20 years of theater direction and actor training, and we are thrilled to be able to offer his expertise to our students who are serious about acting. Many of Chris's students have gone on to work professionally and he cites the Meisner approach as the backbone of his actor's success. Erin Nycz, Treehouse Education director and arts professional, knows firsthand how effective this approach is as she used portions of this method in her own education, and is excited to dive back into the deep end of acting work alongside Mr. A.
