Transform your passion for acting into a meaningful craft with our Introduction to Dramatic Acting course! Tailored for students interested in dramatic acting, this course offers hands-on stage experience as participants form the ensemble for select scenes in our fall one-act production of The Spitfire Grill. Led by Chris Andacht and Erin Nycz, this small-group course focuses on building characters through physical storytelling and ensemble collaboration. We’re seeking self-motivated, focused actors who are eager to dive into the rehearsal process and grow as performers in a supportive, process-based environment. Rehearsal Schedule: Summer: Ensemble will be called as needed on Mondays, Wednesdays, and select Fridays, from 2-4 PM, beginning July 14. Fall: Regular rehearsals begin in September, on Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:30–8:30 PM Additional rehearsals may be added as needed, and we can be flexible with a limited number of conflicts. Performance dates are: Sunday, 8/10 – 2:00 PM show, 11:00 AM call Monday, 8/18 – 6:00 PM show (in lieu of rehearsal), 3:00 PM call Thursday, 8/21 – 6:00 PM show, 3:00 PM call Wednesday, 8/27 – 6:00 PM show, 3:00 PM call Sunday, 9/14 – 6:00 PM show, 3:00 PM call Sunday, 9/28 – 2:00 PM show, 11:00 AM call (packer game)
