From the Page to the Stage

Have you ever wondered how a show goes from words on a page to a live stage production? Experience the magic of bringing the world on the page to life on the stage! In this 8-part course, students will gain an insider's understanding of what it takes to transform a written script into a captivating stage production. Our experienced instructor will provide a comprehensive overview of the role of technicians and designers, and provide work time to create model sets, explore costume concepts and create a prop from scratch! Space is limited, sign up today! This class is: - Open to students in grades 7-12 - Held Wednesdays, September 18-November 6 - Meets from 6:00-8:30 pm - Instructor: Jonathan Medendorp A minimum of 4 students is needed to run this course.
