Our Next
MUSICAL

This production was fully cast in early February of 2020 and roughly half of the rehearsals were completed before COVID-19 forced their indefinite postponement. This show will be our first musical presented once it is deemed safe to resume large group gatherings.
With its poignant story and catchy Caribbean-flavored score, Once on This Island JR. is a theatrical adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen’s popular fairy tale, The Little Mermaid, and winner of the 2018 Tony award for Best Revival of the 1990 Broadway musical.
Through almost non-stop song and dance, this full-hearted musical tells the story of Ti Moune, a fearless peasant girl in search of her place in the world, and ready to risk it all for love. Guided by the mighty island gods, Ti Moune sets out on a remarkable journey that will test the strength of her love against the powerful forces of prejudice, hatred and even death.
