Annie - complex, tough, street-wise orphan who is surprisingly vulnerable 


Molly - youngest of the orphans, about age 6

Tessie - cry-baby of the orphans, about age 11

Pepper - toughest of the orphans, about age 12

July - quietist of the orphans, about age 13 

Duffy - oldest of the orphans, about age 14 

Miss Hannigan - a definite "has-been" with great distaste for her job at NYC Municipal Orphanage

Grace Farrelll - Oliver Warbucks's calm, cool and classy secretary; business-like, yet maternal toward Annie

Rooster Hannigan and Lily St. Regis - claim to be Annie's parents, but revealed to be Miss Hannigan's brother and his girlfriend

Oliver Warbucks - daunting millionaire who is awkwardly affectionate toward Annie

Sandy - Annie's stray dog

Drake and Servantsloyal domestic help who work in Oliver Warbucks' mansion

Apple Seller, Lt. Ward, Bert Healy, Bundles, President Roosevelt, Louis Howe, Star-to-be, Usherette - small speaking roles
