WATCH HERE FOR 2014 TEAM AUDITIONS ~
We need 20+ dedicated youth, ages 8-18, to represent us in January, 2014
January 18-21, 2013 in Atlanta, GA
** WHAT AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE **
Congratulations to our 19 talented JTF actors who performed a 15-minute "mini-musical" of
Disney's The Little Mermaid, Jr. for two amazing professional judges -- Cindy Ripley (Sr. Education
Consultant for iTheatrics) and Tobin Ost (Broadway Set & Costume Designer)!

We were blessed with several honors:
- Outstanding Achievement in Music Award - whole group
- Outstanding Achievement in Student Choreography - Julie Rohrer
- Broadway Jr. All Stars - Sam Schoepp and Abby Onesti
- Broadway Jr Choreography DVD auditions - Sam Schoepp, Abby Onesti, Dallas Laurin
- Broadway Jr. Choreogrpaher DVD callback - Sam Schoepp
This year's Honored Guest was Mr. Alan Menken (Broadway Composer for Beauty & the Beast,
Aladdin, Hercules, Pocahantas, Newsies...) who played piano and sang musical highlights for an hour!

Three current Broadway cast members of NEWSIES shared their stories as well as three former JTF
participants now working in theater and television. Our kids and adults also attended numerous
workshops to help broaden our theater company.

82 groups from 23 states totaled over 4,000 people gathered to celebrate music theater !!

WHAT IS THE JUNIOR THEATER FESTIVAL -- "JTF"?
- 2013 was the 11th Annual convention of over 3,000 youth from across the USA who are gathered to celebrate music theater!
- A long weekend filled with energy, fun, judging, performances & workshops!
- An opportunity to see what other theater companies are performing and how you/your kids compare to others!
- A chance to bond with actors from Treehouse and an opportunity to meet other kids who love theater!
WHO CAN ATTEND JTF?
- Boys and girls, ages 8-18 MUST AUDITION (20+ actors will be selected)
- Production Team members (3 adults)
- Adult Chaperones (8-10) ** mandatory for parent or guardian to attend with children ages 8-11
HOW SHOULD YOU PREPARE FOR AUDITIONS?
The Production Team is looking for hard-working, dedicated, and motivated students to positively represent Treehouse Theater at JTF. We will listen to you sing a solo piece (accompanied by a pre-arranged pianist, a CD, or an I-pod), teach and watch a dance/movement number, and request improptu activities and theatrical readings from specific show scenes.

WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH THIS TRIP?
- All local instruction and trip arrangements from the Production Team
- Team T-shirt to be worn during "mini-musical" performance in Atlanta
- Round trip Airfare between Milwaukee and Atlanta
- Three nights at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel
- Bus (between the airport and hotel)
- Ticket & Bus (between hotel and Fox Theater) for Broadway production
- Festival Participation Fee (t-shirt, performance for judges, learning workshops, special guests, two lunches, yearbook)
