Welcome to the marketplace of Agrabah, home to the street rat who became a prince! This fantanstic tale brings the mysterious beauty of the Arabian Nights to the musical stage as Aladdin, Jasmine, Jafar, Iago, and the Genie battle for power and possession of the lamp. Get out your magic carpet and get ready for an enchanting theatrical ride!

Limited to 50 students, ages 4-14

* All registered students will be cast members *

Our Production Team will guide boys and girls through singing, blocking and movement workshops followed by instruction and encouragement for a positive audition experience.

WORKSHOPS (ages 4-6 from 6:00-7:30 pm; ages 7+ from 6-8 pm)

Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, June 18, 19 & 25

AUDITIONS (optional, but all students will be encouraged)

Wednesday, June 26 from 5:00-6:30 or 6:30-8:00

REHEARSALS (6-8 pm for all students)

Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, July 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30 & 31

FULL CAST REHEARSALS

Monday-Wednesday evenings, August 5, 6 & 7

FULL CAST DRESS REHEARSALS

Sunday-Wednesday evenings, August 11, 12, 13 & 14

PERFORMANCES

Friday & Saturday, August 16 & 17 @ 6:30 pm

Sunday, August 18 @ 2:00 pm

* Attendance is mandatory on August 11-18 and students may only miss two other rehearsal dates.

* Tickets to Performances cost $5 each for general seating

* Cost of $50 each INCLUDES includes all instruction, music CD, script, costume usage, cast t-shirt and DVD **Sibling discount of $10 each(excludes DVD)

* Each cast family is required to complete at least five volunteer time slots (rehearsal supervision, marketing, set build/paint, backstage, performance lobby sales, etc)

* All rehearsals will be held at the JE Hamilton Community House - 1520 17th Street in Two Rivers - and students will be excused at 8:00 pm

THE THEATER EXPERIENCE

Experience theater from every angle during our four week course - show selection, casting, acting, costume & makeup design, lighting, stage management and tech. Culminates in a straight production (NOT a musical with singing and choreography), showcasing everything learned.
