"Living the Dream"  

The outline for this fabulous evening of instruction and inspiration is:

  • Chuck's start in theater, path, networking and friends
  • Chuck's favorite parts/stories from being a Broadway actor
  • Examples/importance of a positive attitude/work ethic and "coach-ability" (regardless of your talent level)
  • Experience/importance of hard work and lessons to help overcome personal weaknesses 
  • Tips:
    • Preparing for advanced level auditions; advice for those in college or heading to NYC
    • Thorough character development / importance of practicing the delivery of lines with character intent and tone
    • Memorizing lines and song lyrics
    • Working opposite of a weaker acting
    • Faking "stage chemistry" with someone you're not close to
  • Q&A
  • Chuck's vocal performance
  • Social time with food and adult beverages

 

"Becoming the Beast"

This class will focus heavily on character development and the show's history leading up to the 2017 “Beauty & the Beast" movie.
